Community Actions
Monthly Cleanup!
Join us on the last Saturday of each month to take care of Jungle Hill.
9:30a-11:30a
This is a great way to help out the environment, meet your neighbors, and take direct action to make positive change in this world. It’s also just a nice way to jumpstart the weekend.
No RSVP is needed for this event.
Just come on by!
Promote Native Species
Supporting the local environment and biodiversity is important to the health and future of everyone.
We will plant California native species and remove invasive plants.
Do you have a green thumb? Are you overflowing in native plant abundance? Can you teach us something cool?
Let’s work together and create sustainable projects.
Community Mural
Near the top of Jungle Hill is the storied wall. It is the last vestige of a row of houses that collapsed due to several landslides (check out the History page for more details).
Over the years, this space has been Jungle Hill’s name tag, a place of community art, and graffiti.
This structure has shown the community’s desire to leave a mark that shows what we’re all about.
We have an amazing opportunity right now to create something beautiful together. Let’s talk about our visions and bring to life something that represents all of us.
24X Neighborhood Council
Share your voice with the neighborhood!
Join the 24X Harrington/Jefferson neighborhood council meetings on the third Wednesday of the month. The meetings are in the evening and usually online.
Come share your ideas on how we can improve the neighborhood, express concerns, learn about community events, and get updates of ongoing projects!
Let us know below if you’re interested and we’ll get you the details.
Let’s Work Together
Please let us know if you are interested in getting involved with taking care of Jungle Hill!
We’re open to new ideas, receiving plant donations, and finding ways to use your skills to make positive change.
We'll get back to you as soon as possible.
Have a lovely rest of your day!
